Research plan

Research plan The research that I and my group plan to conduct will be handing out questionnaires then following them up with a focus group. This will allow us to identify our target market and get various answers on various questions and then give our target audience what they want. This is done by identifying a demand for our music video and then exploiting it. By following up the questionnaires with focus groups we are able to find out detailed information about responses from the questionnaire, therefore giving us a broader range of opinions such as identifying how exactly the target market would be attracted to our music video, most especially the genre of music we plan on implementing the music video in. We have decided to hand out 10 questionnaires each to 5 males and 5 females in order for us to identify our target market. When distributing the questionnaires, we’re going to try and hand them out to people from all different ethnics, age groups and locations. The purpose of the questionnaire is to find out why people listen to electric music and what is their favourite artist within this music genre and why. The questionnaire should consist of open and closed questions; this is so we are able to get direct answers to what we are looking for. Continuing from the questionnaires, we will then conduct a focus group on 3-5 students. It’s a perfect opportunity for us to go into depth detail from our questionnaire follow up questions. For example, if someone were to say "yes" they do like listening to electric music; a question in the focus group would then be why? Why do you like listening to it? What attracts you to electric music? In terms of work load, work was delegated throughout the team in order to ensure that this research plan was put in place
