Freytag's theory is used in a lot of music videos; I thought it would be extremely valuable for me to apply his theory to my music video. Our lyrics basically tell a story, for that reason I would think it would be perfect if we applied the mini climaxes, rising action, the climax, falling action and denouement in certain scenes. For example, in the chorus it says "Baby when I’m yelling at you...” we could include the climax there include there. We use Freytag’s theory to make it as interesting as possible for the audience by creating a dramatic structure. Above in the diagram I’ve used, you can see that in Freytag theory there is always something consistently going on throughout the story as there are gradual increases in action until the denouement when the plot starts to cool down and the audience become one with the flow. It builds the tension up to where it reaches the climax, and then takes the audience back down to denouement.
